Tenova in Dalmine (BG), Italy, seeks an Automation Project Engineer responsible for designing automation systems and coordinating commissioning. You will define system architecture, specify control panels, and supervise suppliers.
The role requires experience with PLC-based automation for steelworks or similar plants, knowledge of electrical CAD tools, and willingness to travel within Italy and abroad up to 30%.
Competenze
- Experience in defining and designing PLC-based automation systems (components, distribution, networks, SCADA platforms).
- Knowledge of electrical CAD (AutoCAD and SPAC).
- Experience with testing and commissioning of automation systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad (up to 30%).
Mansioni
- Definition and structuring of automation systems.
- Preparation of automation system engineering (system architecture, networks, remote I/O, motor list, I/O list, cable list).
- Preparation of technical specifications for purchase of control systems (PC/PLC, software), panels and accessories.
- Supervision and coordination of suppliers who develop detailed engineering and construction of panels and accessories.
- Support for software engineers who develop automation.
- Supervision and coordination of testing activities for panels and automation systems (FAT).
- Supervision and coordination of automation system commissioning activities.
