TMF Group is seeking an Associate Fund Accountant in Italy to maintain fund accounting records and deliver high-quality financial reporting for client portfolios.

You will handle NAV calculations, investor statements, and capital calls with attention to IFRS GAAP standards and regulatory compliance. This role emphasizes accuracy and operational excellence within a hybrid work setup.

Competenze

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Economics or Finance.
• 3–5 years of fund accounting experience.
• Knowledge of IFRS GAAP and fund structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Mansioni

• Maintain general ledger and perform daily, monthly, and quarterly fund accounting tasks.
• Prepare NAV calculations, investor allocations, and capital statements.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in IFRS GAAP.
• Prepare investor reports and respond to investor queries in a timely manner.
• Regulatory reporting to Bank of Italy and Consob (CRS/FATCA as applicable).

The Associate Fund Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate fund accounting records and delivering high-quality financial reporting for assigned client portfolios. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of fund accounting standards, and commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain general ledger and perform daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting for Funds.
• Prepare NAV calculations, investor allocations, and capital account statements.
• Ensure accurate recording of capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carried interest.

Financial Statements & Compliance

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and client-specific requirements.

Investor Reporting

• Prepare investor reports, capital call notices, and distribution notices.
• Maintain investor records and respond to investor queries in a timely manner.

Regulator Reporting

• Reporting to Bank of Italy, Consob
• CRS / FATCA

Key Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Economic field is required.

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in fund accounting
• Knowledge of IFRS GAAP and fund structures.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
