adidas Italy is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations and drive a premium store experience on the shop floor.

You will lead a team, coach colleagues, and ensure visual merchandising and KPIs are monitored to boost performance. The role emphasizes collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement, with development opportunities and employee benefits.

• Minimum 18 months of retail experience with supervisory responsibility.

Your Role and Impact

As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving store performance by supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations and execution of retail standards. You will help create a high-performing, consumer-focused environment by leading the team on the shop floor, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering a premium adidas experience.

You will act as a role model, motivating and developing your team while contributing to a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, customer service, replenishment, inventory, and compliance
• Lead by example on the sales floor, ensuring a premium consumer experience and strong service culture
• Motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve store targets and grow their capabilities
• Drive execution of store processes and standards to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new hires
• Monitor and analyze store KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve performance and profitability
• Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are maintained in line with brand guidelines
• Handle challenging interpersonal situations professionally and support a positive team environment
• Take ownership of specific store responsibilities and lead initiatives in line with business needs
• Step in for the Store Manager when required

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 18 months of experience in a retail environment (sports/fashion preferred), including supervisory responsibility or experience as Assistant Store Manager
• Strong team leadership and coaching skills
• Solid understanding of retail operations and store processes
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs and drive performance
• Good knowledge of Visual Merchandising principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent in English and Italian
