New York University Florence (NYUF) seeks an Assistant Director of Academic Services and Lecturer to lead the NYU Florence academic program, from course planning to student learning. The role combines teaching and administration and reports to the Academic Director of NYUF.

Responsibilities include supervising the program, teaching 2–3 courses per academic year, advising students, mentoring faculty, coordinating with NYU Florence and New York staff, and supporting research expansion while

Competenze

• Ph.D. or other terminal degree in a relevant field preferred by date of appointment.
• At least 3 years' progressively responsible experience in academic administration or related area; includes leading projects and managing office operations, budgets, and staff.
• Minimum three years of university-level teaching experience with demonstrated excellence in teaching.

Mansioni

• Supervise all aspects of the NYU Florence academic program, including teaching, research, and academic partnerships.
• Teach 2–3 courses per academic year.
• Oversee student advising and collaborate with local faculty and staff to meet university goals.
• Develop and mentor faculty and coordinate across NYU Florence and New York staff.
• Assist in management of NYUF’s expanding research program and coordinate academic and co-curricular events.
• Collaborate with the Office of Student Life to ensure enhanced learning outcomes.
