  • Ensure classrooms, facilities, and EagleVision spaces are prepared and maintained for instructional use.
  • Prepare accurate reports, correspondence, and documentation for University and external agencies.
  • Participate in required training and effectively utilize University systems, tools, and resources.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, problem-solving skills, professionalism, and a commitment to excellent student service.

Job Description

The Opportunity

The Assistant Campus Director supports the daily operations of the campus while helping deliver an exceptional experience for students, faculty, and community partners. This position plays a key role in student recruitment, retention, advising, and campus communications while building strong relationships with civilian and military organizations. The Assistant Campus Director serves as a campus leader and assumes responsibility for campus operations in the absence of the Campus Director and/or Associate Campus Director, ensuring University policies, procedures, and service standards are consistently maintained.

  • Generous Time Off: _ Enjoy up to 18 days of paid leave in your first year, including 3 days granted upon hire and 15 days accrued throughout the year. You’ll also receive 9+ paid holidays, including the day after Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day._

  • Tuition Coverage: Get 100% tuition coverage for yourself for one undergraduate and one graduate degree, and discounted rates for your spouse and dependent children up to age 26.

  • Retirement Contributions: _ ERAU contributes 6% of your base salary to your retirement plan and offers a 4% matching contribution – with no vesting period._

  • Personal Leave: Relax with 15 days of personal leave for non‑exempt employees or 18 days for exempt full‑time employees in your first year.

Compensation


The hourly rate for this role is up to $17.00. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate’s degree or completion of a post‑secondary program of at least 18 months following high school.

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and simple forms.

Experience

  • 0–1 year of related work experience.

  • Experience providing student support.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

  • Knowledge of information systems and common end‑user applications.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook/email, and Internet applications.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of office procedures and equipment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in higher education or counseling.

  • Experience in marketing, advertising, or recruitment.

  • Aviation‑related experience or knowledge.

  • Individual Logistical Support (ILS) experience or background
