University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach in Italy for the Artificial Intelligence Program. The position is located in Aviano, Italy, with responsibilities to engage adult learners and deliver online and in-person instruction for AI courses.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree in AI/Data Science or related field and 3–5 years of professional AI/Data Analytics experience. Local status and ability to work legally in Italy are required.

Adjunct Faculty Artificial Intelligence UMGC Europe Location: Aviano, Italy

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach in Italy for the Artificial Intelligence Program.

Required Education and Experience

Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Analytics or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.

3-5 years of professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Analytics.

Local applicants only.

Adjunct faculty positions are not eligible for UMGC sponsored logistical support.

Applicants must have and be able to maintain their own legal status in the country in which they apply to teach.

Preferred Education and Experience

Terminal Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Analytics or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.

Industry Certifications in ML, AI, Data Science from Microsoft, IBM, AWS.

Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.

Demonstrate relevant and current subject-matter expertise, and help students connect concepts across their academic program.

Provide feedback to your program chair on possible curricular improvements.
