Charles Virone Concept (CVC) is an established Canadian multidisciplinary architectural and interior design firm specializing in luxury residential and hospitality projects, with offices in Montreal, Miami, and Nassau, Bahamas.

Our firm provides comprehensive architectural and interior design services, including space planning, architectural detailing, custom cabinetry and millwork, luxury kitchens, furniture procurement, and project coordination through final installation.

We collaborate with internationally recognized Italian furniture and architectural systems manufacturers, including Flexform, Poltrona Frau, Living Divani, Porro, and Rimadesio.

Our projects range from sophisticated private residences and luxury condominiums to large-scale residential developments and hospitality environments throughout North America and the Caribbean.

We are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technician / 3D Visualization Specialist based in Sicily, Italy, for an ongoing, full-time-capacity remote collaboration as an independent professional.

IMPORTANT: Fluent spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement for this position. All professional communication, project coordination, and daily meetings are conducted in English. Applicants must be comfortable communicating independently and effectively in English.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an architectural technician with a minimum of five years of professional experience, combining strong technical drafting capabilities with excellent 3D modeling and photorealistic rendering skills.

The selected professional will support our architectural and interior design teams through the preparation of accurate technical drawings, detailed 3D models, and high-quality interior and exterior visualizations.

This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor relationship with our Canadian company, rather than an Italian payroll employment position.

The collaboration is intended to be long-term, with a consistent volume of architectural and visualization work, agreed deliverables, and regular online coordination with our Montreal team.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Drafting & Technical Documentation

• Prepare architectural floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and construction details.
• Develop and revise architectural drawings based on design concepts, sketches, and project requirements.
• Assist with residential space planning and architectural design development.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings for custom cabinetry, kitchens, wardrobes, built-ins, and architectural millwork.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with interior design layouts, furniture arrangements, and architectural systems.
• Maintain accurate, organized project drawings and technical documentation.

3D Modeling & Photorealistic Rendering

• Develop detailed architectural 3D models from drawings, sketches, and design concepts.
• Produce high-quality photorealistic renderings of both interior and exterior spaces.
• Demonstrate an excellent understanding of realistic lighting, materials, textures, finishes, and architectural proportions.
• Create visualizations of contemporary residential architecture, including facades, terraces, pools, and outdoor living areas.
• Produce interior renderings of living spaces, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and custom architectural features.
• Refine renderings based on design feedback while preserving the accuracy of approved concepts.
• Prepare professional visual presentations for internal reviews and client presentations.

Project Coordination & Collaboration

• Collaborate remotely with our architectural and interior design teams.
• Participate in regularly scheduled online coordination meetings and design reviews conducted in English.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Manage assigned deliverables independently within agreed project schedules.
• Identify technical inconsistencies and proactively communicate questions or proposed solutions.
• Maintain organized digital project files.
  

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Excellent architectural drafting and technical documentation skills.
• Strong 3D modeling capabilities and demonstrated experience producing photorealistic architectural renderings.
• Proficiency in one or more visualization platforms such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, V-Ray, Corona, D5 Render, Enscape, or Lumion.
• Good understanding of residential construction, architectural detailing, materials, and building components.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate design concepts into accurate technical documentation.
• Fluent spoken and written English is essential. Candidates must be able to participate confidently in professional conversations, understand technical instructions, and communicate clearly in writing without relying on translation assistance.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an international design team.
• Reliable high-speed internet and appropriate computer equipment for professional drafting and rendering work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on luxury residential or hospitality projects.
• Strong portfolio of photorealistic interior and exterior renderings.
• Experience preparing detailed kitchen, wardrobe, cabinetry, and architectural millwork drawings.
• Familiarity with Italian furniture manufacturers, kitchen systems, and architectural products.
• Knowledge of contemporary Italian architecture, interiors, materials, and detailing.
• Experience coordinating architectural drawings with interior design and furniture layouts.
