Job summary

Architectural Intership based in Bologna

0-2 years of experience / Bologna / Duration 3 months (with the possibility of extension)

Depending on your expertise, you will have the chance to work side by side with professionals on projects ranging from single buildings to complex urban areas, with a strong focus on environmental sustainability and technological innovation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in architecture or engineering.


• Understanding of Mario Cucinella Architects work and theory.


• A creative and proactive approach to complex projects, in different design phases and during construction.


• Ability to work alone and in a teamwork environment willing to help the team when needed.


• Interest in learning and flexibility in adapting to diverse working dynamics.


• Candidates should be detail oriented with good time management skills to meet deadlines.


• Fluent Italian and English speaker. A third language will be positively considered in the selection.


• Good knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture and AutoCAD (production of drawings, detailing, layout of different types of deliverables, schedules).


• Ability to make complex 3D models in Rhino (use of Grasshopper and Enscape is preferred).


• Strong graphic and design skills (very good proficiency with Adobe Suite).


• Knowledge of ChatGPT and Midjourney is an assett.


• Knowledge of Dynamo and/or Navisworks is an assett.

The studio based in Bologna and Milan, is composed of an international team of more than one hundred architects, engineers, graphic designers, model makers and researchers. Founded in 1992 in Paris and then in 1999 in Bologna, the studio has a solid experience in design architecture that integrates environmental and energy strategies, making use of an internal R&D department, which carries out research on sustainability issues following a holistic approach.

All projects are united by a common focus on technological integration with environmental and climate strategies to create buildings that can reduce their environmental impact in view of the UN 2030 and European 2050 objectives. Therefore, the practice aims to contribute to the mitigation and adaption of actions that diminish the impact of climate change, on the one hand, and to create positive social evolution through greater public participation and sharing of urban planning and transformation processes, on the other.
