Experts Group International is seeking an Application Engineer for its client, a semiconductor test equipment manufacturer, in Umbria, Italy. You will develop and validate test applications for customers’ devices, taking projects from hardware design through to final validation.

This hands-on role combines hardware, software and direct customer contact, with responsibilities spanning design, integration and documentation across multiple projects.

Competenze

• A degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Knowledge of the different technology families of electronic and semiconductor devices.
• Experience with DxDesigner and Expedition (or similar schematic/PCB design tools).
• Programming skills in C/C++.
• Fluent Italian and good working English (preferred).

Mansioni

• Designing test boards (schematic design)
• Developing test patterns and test programs
• Integrating the test board, test program and device under test (DUT), including debug and validation of applications across temperature
• Producing, managing and archiving all technical documentation for each project
• Managing in-house qualification services
