Job summary

Teradyne in Milan is seeking a Field Application Engineer to develop and deploy test solutions on our ATE platforms, joining a global engineering team in Italy. The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, cross-functional teams, and international travel to support Teradyne’s semiconductor testing solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Electronics Engineering with 3+ years of ATE semiconductor experience, knowledge of electrical measurement, and programming skills in C++ and C#.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in the ATE Semiconductor IC manufacturing.
• Experience with lab instrumentation and bench debug tools (oscilloscopes, generators, meters).
• Skills in analog/power HW design and Hi Speed Digital HW design techniques are a plus.
• Strong data analysis and ability to drive technical discussions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced test solutions for digital and mixed-signal in the semiconductor market.
• Support customers in maximizing Teradyne ATE platforms, focusing on ETS800.
• Partner with sales to achieve business goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop, debug, and deploy test programs based on customer specifications.
• Provide technical support to customer engineers.
• Build strong technical relationships to understand customer needs and future directions.
• Participate in international teams comprising Teradyne and customer engineers.
• Conduct training sessions.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
