Evoca Group is seeking a versatile Android, Cloud (Backend) & Firmware Designer to join our Electronics R&D Team. The role focuses on payment systems and digital solutions across embedded devices, Android apps, and cloud backend services.

You will collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Software teams, participate in full product lifecycles, and influence architecture and technology evolution in a multinational environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of previous experience.
• Ability to read and understand electronic schematics.
• Strong product-oriented mindset with a global view of system design and business objectives.
• Results-driven approach and strong problem-solving skills.

We are looking for a versatile and motivated Android, Cloud (Backend) & Firmware Designer to join our Electronics R&D Team and contribute to the development of payment systems and digital solutions

The ideal candidate combines a solid background in electronics and embedded software development with the ability to work across firmware, Android, and cloud technologies

She/He has a broad product vision, is goal-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic environment where flexibility and innovation are key success factors

Your responsibilities will be:

• Design, develop, and maintain payment systems and digital solutions
• Develop and integrate software across embedded devices, Android applications, and cloud-based backend services
• Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Software teams to ensure seamless product integration
• Support the entire product lifecycle, from requirements definition to deployment and maintenance
• Contribute to system architecture, technology evolution, and product innovation

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of previous experience
• Ability to read and understand electronic schematics
• Strong product-oriented mindset with a global view of system design and business objectives.
• Results-driven approach and strong problem-solving skills
• Flexible, proactive, and comfortable working in cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of Cloud and Backend technologies

Nice to have:

• Experience with Java
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience with IoT devices, connected systems, or electronic payment solutions
