Cattaneo Zanetto Pomposo & Co. is seeking an Analyst to monitor legislative, regulatory, and policy developments across Italian government bodies and authorities. You will develop analysis reports, memos, and position papers for clients, working with the Director heading the practice.

The paid internship offers a monthly allowance and the potential for full-time employment upon completion. Strong English and Italian language skills are essential for success in this role.

Competenze

• Degree in Law, Economics or Political Science required.
• Public Affairs specialization is a further advantage.
• Fluent English and Italian are required.
• Ability to translate between business and politics languages.
• Knowledge of Italian regulatory and legislative processes is essential; EU processes advantageous.

The Analyst will support the professionals of the firm in monitoring legislative, regulatory and policy developments across key Italian government bodies and regulatory authorities, as well as relevant regions in Italy. The Analyst will develop analysis reports, memos and position papers for the firm's clients, together with their supervisor. The Analyst will work closely with the Director heading the practice within the firm.

This is a paid internship position with a monthly allowance of €800, with full-time employment opportunity.

Requirements include:

• Excellent academic background. Degree in Law, Economics or Political Science required;
• Public Affairs specialization is a further advantage;
• Fluent English (required) as well as fluent Italian;
• Ability to translate between the specialist languages of business and politics;
• Detailed knowledge of Italian regulatory and legislative processes;
• Knowledge of EU regulatory and legislative processes is a further advantage.

The role requires analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person, ability to work as a professional, to meet strict deadlines and possibly work under pressure.
