D-Orbit is looking for an Assembly-Integration-and-Verification (AIV) systems engineer to join our growing systems engineering team in Italy. Qualifikationen

• Min 2 years of relevant work experience in space or engineering domains such as aeronautics.
• Autonomous in defining test plans, procedures and reports.
• Knowledge of test theory and practical aspects like functional testing, electrical bonding/isolation, vibration, TVAC.
• Hands-on experience in test execution on engineering models / flat-sat or HW-SW testbenches.
• Systems engineering principles and knowledge of spacecraft subsystems, especially OBDH.
• Knowledge of data bus architectures.
• Health and safety principles in the relevant environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and team-oriented attitude.
• Experience with Matlab and Python.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Aufgaben

• Plan the integration and testing of new satellites from components acceptance to launch campaign shipment.
• Define and maintain the verification and validation strategy, model philosophy and plan; participate in AIV/MAIT activities.
• Define the systems and subsystems verification test plans and procedures.
• Manage system-level and OBDH verifications, including testing on engineering models / flat-sat.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on systems and subsystems design.
• Contribute to budgeting and integration within the project team.
• Support requirements capture and management with a verification focus.
• Interface with prototyping technicians and launch campaign team during the V&V campaign.
• Support Flight Ops for on-orbit validation during missions.
