Job summary

Thales Alenia Space in Italy is seeking a Satellite Navigation Payload IVVQ Engineer. You will ensure test preparation and execution according to IVVQ strategy, perform module and unit testing, and define the integration tree aligned with the system release plan.

You will develop and deploy software to support test activities, specify required test equipment, plan activities, and lead demonstrations to the end customer, mentoring junior team members and delivering high-quality results within

Responsibilities

• Perform module, program or unit testing of software components
• Define step by step the integration tree consistent with the system release plan
• Develop/deploy/maintain software that supports test activities such as test management, test design, test execution and results checking
• Provide investigative support of a staging or SIL environment with the help of software or hardware tools
• Identify test equipment; standard or specialised and any special calibration requirements
• Plan, estimate, monitor and control IVVQ activities
• Identify the means required (enabling System) to validate the Solution and define validation criteria
• Satisfy customer expectations
• Prepare test campaigns, run tests and analyse results
• Write and update integration and verification test procedures documentation
• Lead demonstrations to the end customer
