Aventino's Italian Restaurant at Dulles International Airport is seeking a Shift Leader to support daily operations and lead restaurant staff in the absence of management. You’ll ensure guest satisfaction, help with food prep, and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.

The role requires 1-2 years supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and ServSafe or alcohol awareness certification.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years previous customer service and supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Alcohol awareness and/or ServSafe Food Safety certification required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short memos and communicate effectively.

Mansioni

• Provide superior guest service and greet guests promptly with a smile.
• Explain and suggestively sell menu items, products and promotions.
• Handle cash transactions, process checks and payments accurately.
• Cook and store food at proper temperatures; rotate products per standards.
• Open/close duties including cash management and inventory.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in all areas and follow procedures.
