Aventino's Italian Restaurant at Dulles International Airport is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations, oversee staff, manage costs, inventory, and ensure superior guest service.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in restaurant/food service with 2 years in a leadership role, plus strong interpersonal skills to motivate teams and maintain high standards. ServSafe certification is preferred, with potential for training and career growth.

Competenze

• Must have 3+ years in restaurant/food service with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Ability to lead and motivate subordinate staff.
• Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with employees and guests.
• Knowledge of P&L and sales reports; familiarity with inventory and cost control.

Mansioni

• Manage or assist in day-to-day operations and oversee cost, revenue, labor and inventory control.
• Supervise unit employees, assign duties, ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
• Maintain quality control records and comply with brand standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with company, brand/franchise standards and regulatory requirements.
• Operate the unit in accordance with airport requirements and monitor activity.
• Foster effective communication and resolve associate relations issues; support performance reviews.
• Assist with recruiting, selection, promotion and training of staff.
• Coordinate with maintenance to inspect and service equipment.
• Enforce safe food handling, hygiene, and safety practices.
