Applegreen Verona seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead on-site teams, ensure top customer service, and maintain cash-handling accuracy and brand standards. You will train new staff and oversee opening/closing tasks while upholding food safety and policy compliance.

The role requires flexibility for days, nights, weekends and holidays, with opportunities to develop leadership skills within a busy travel plaza environment.

Competenze

• Cash handling experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Mansioni

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and handle payments in line with policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temp checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prep, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist training of new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or issues.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
