Generali Group seeks a Lead AI Validation & Governance professional in Bari, Puglia, to oversee AI governance and validation across ML and GenAI systems. You will shape the model risk framework, provide independent oversight, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers in a regulated environment.

You will design reusable governance tooling, implement monitoring, and ensure lifecycle compliance, including audits and documentation, with strong Python skills and regulatory awareness.

Competenze

• 4–7+ years of AI/ML validation or governance experience in regulated environments.
• Advanced Python programming with pandas, scikit-learn, LightGBM.
• Fluent Italian and English working proficiency.

Mansioni

• Perform independent validation and challenge of AI/ML and GenAI systems across the full lifecycle, incl. data quality and metrics.
• Align validation practices with EU AI Act regulations and internal guidelines.
• Identify risks (bias, explainability, compliance) and define validation controls and mitigations.
• Define and implement continuous monitoring and alerting for production AI systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders as a second line of defense.
• Maintain robust documentation and support audits; contribute to standards and best practices.
• Lead design, validation and testing contributions in pipelines and prototypes.
• Support regulatory awareness and governance in a fast-paced environment.
