Generali Group seeks a Lead AI Validation & Governance specialist to oversee AI/ML validation, risk management, and governance across GenAI and traditional ML within a regulated setting in Italy. You will work hands-on with design, validation, and testing, coordinating with data scientists and engineers to ensure robust, compliant AI solutions.

In this role, you will drive validation controls, monitoring, and lifecycle compliance, while translating EU AI Act requirements into practical

Competenze

• 4–7+ years of experience in AI/ML validation, model risk, or AI governance in regulated environments.
• Advanced Python programming with experience in Pandas, Scikit-learn, LightGBM.
• Able to write clean, modular, maintainable code with reproducibility and quality.
• Autonomy and proactivity with EU AI Act awareness, explainability tools, and modern AI architectures.

Mansioni

• Lead AI validation and governance across ML and GenAI/agentic AI throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide independent oversight, design validation, and testing with data scientists and engineers.
• Define validation controls and mitigations for key risks (bias, explainability, compliance).
• Implement continuous monitoring and alerting for production AI systems.
