Generali Group is seeking an experienced AI validation and governance professional to lead risk-aware oversight across traditional ML and GenAI systems. You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to implement scalable governance tooling, ensuring compliant AI across business-critical contexts.

The role blends strategic governance with hands-on validation, testing, and documentation in a regulated environment. Strong Python skills and multilingual proficiency are essential.

Competenze

• 4–7+ years of experience in AI/ML validation or model governance in regulated environments.
• Advanced Python programming skills with emphasis on reproducibility.
• Ability to develop clean, modular, maintainable code.
• Experience aligning validation with regulations (EU AI Act) and internal policies.
• Strong analytical thinking and risk mindset with clear documentation.
• Fluent Italian and English working proficiency.

Mansioni

• Perform independent validation and challenge of AI/ML and GenAI systems across the full lifecycle, including data quality and performance metrics.
• Identify key risks (bias, explainability, compliance) and define validation controls and mitigations.
• Define and implement continuous monitoring and alerting for production AI systems (drift, risks).
• Ensure ongoing lifecycle compliance, including periodic re-validation and audits.
• Design reusable governance and monitoring tooling for scalability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders as a second line of defense.
• Maintain robust documentation and contribute to standards and best practices.
• Strong expertise in ML, GenAI, and agentic AI concepts.
