Job summary

ALPITRONIC seeks an AI Transformation Manager to shape the AI agenda, assess processes for AI potential, and evaluate new AI technologies. You will turn promising cases into initiatives and manage the resulting portfolio within the IT roadmap.

You design governance, raise AI literacy across the company, lead the cross-functional AI community, and ensure compliance with the EU AI Act in practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, business informatics or comparable field.
• Several years of IT, digitalization or process/technology project experience with AI initiatives.
• Broad knowledge of AI applications across domains.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience developing governance frameworks; knowledge of the EU AI Act and ISO/IEC 42001 is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of English, German and/or Italian.

Responsibilities

• Assess business processes across functions to identify AI opportunities.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and derive concrete recommendations.
• Qualify AI use cases on value, feasibility, data availability and effort.
• Lead AI initiatives with delivery teams from concept to productive use.
• Align AI portfolio with IT portfolio and present for approval at Digital Steering Committee.
• Translate governance framework into practicable rules and instructions.
• Design a decentralized AI governance model and develop rules and best practices.
• Foster AI literacy and upskill initiatives to meet EU AI Act obligations.
