Amaris Consulting in Italy seeks a skilled AI/Cloud Engineer to develop generative AI solutions and integrate them into scalable architectures. You will build shared libraries and contribute to production-grade frameworks across teams.

Required are Python proficiency, experience with generative AI in real projects, API design, and AWS serverless with Terraform and Docker. Travel to Milan or Bologna offices may be needed; English is required and Italian fluency is a plus.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience with generative AI models in real projects (prompt engineering, RAG).
• Familiarity with embeddings and semantic search tools like Pinecone.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs.
• Practical AWS serverless experience and Terraform CI/CD with Docker.
• Ability to work in a team and travel to Milan or Bologna offices.

You will also be involved in building shared libraries and frameworks used by multiple teams, requiring a collaborative and sharing-oriented approach. Your ability to interface with business, understand project requirements, and actively contribute to the spread of GenAI culture within the organization will be key.

Your missions

• Implement solutions in Python leveraging generative AI models
• Structure cloud projects based on serverless architectures, mainly on AWS
• Expose solutions via APIs, making them accessible to external systems and clients
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and use Docker for packaging and deployment
• Design and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform- Contribute to the development of shared libraries and frameworks for internal us
• Document solutions, share results, and contribute to the architectural evolution of the system

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related fields
• Proficiency in Python
• Proven experience in the use of generative AI models (e.g., prompt engineering, RAG) in real projects
• Familiarity with tools for managing embeddings and semantic search, such as Pinecone
• Experience in designing and implementing APIs
• Practical experience on AWS, especially with serverless services
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, and Docker
• Applied research mindset, experimentation, and rapid prototyping
• Ability to work in a team and contribute to shared solutions
• Availability for occasional travel to Milan or Bologna offices
• English good. Italian fluent or nativ

Salary Range

• Consultant: €24.000 - €36.000 gross annual salary
• Experienced Consultant: €26.000 - €50.000 gross annual salary
• Senior Consultant: €29.000 - €60.000 gross annual salary
