Jobgether, in partnership with a leading tech partner, seeks an Engineering Manager for AI Product Development based in Italy. You will lead a senior engineering team, shape AI-enabled product strategy, and own architectural decisions across frontend, backend, data, and cloud systems in a remote-first, globally distributed setup.

You’ll drive AI-assisted workflows, ensure delivery quality, and balance performance, maintainability, and cost while mentoring engineers to grow in a high-performing

Competenze

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Led engineering teams and owned technical delivery.
• Hands-on AI capabilities integration (LLMs, AI agents, RAG).
• Strong web development with TypeScript, React, Next.js.
• Design scalable APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native apps.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• CI/CD automation, testing, monitoring, production operations.
• Balance leadership with hands-on delivery and accountability.
• Automation and tooling to modernize systems.
• Architectural judgment on scalability, maintainability, cost, reliability.
• Communication and stakeholder management.

• Lead and mentor a team of senior software engineers, fostering ownership, accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product, Design, Operations to translate requirements into scalable solutions and high-impact outcomes.
• Influence product direction by challenging assumptions and prioritizing meaningful outcomes.
• Design, review, and evolve scalable architectures with actionable technical plans.
• Drive AI-assisted development workflows to improve productivity and quality.
• Provide technical leadership across frontend, backend, data, distributed systems, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Lead code reviews and architecture reviews to maintain engineering standards.
• Improve CI/CD, testing, observability, reliability, and security across the org.
• Monitor engineering metrics and delivery indicators to identify risks and improve predictability.
• Lead modernization and platform evolution, reducing technical debt.
• Remain hands-on when needed in architecture, debugging, and POC development.
• Promote asynchronous collaboration across distributed teams.
