ALTEN is seeking an AI Expert to lead consulting efforts, project delivery for AI initiatives, and guide teams through the AI lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of experience delivering AI projects. Skills in AI languages like Python, cloud environments such as Azure and AWS, and practical experience with Generative AI are essential. The role demands excellent communication and problem-solving skills, enhancing ALTEN’s AI practice across multiple projects.

As an AI Expert at Alten, you will provide technical leadership and expertise across consulting engagements, pre-sales activities, and project delivery. You will guide clients and internal teams through the full AI lifecycle, from use case identification to industrialization, while ensuring alignment with bestpractices and emerging technologies.

Global Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting support, pre-sales support, and project delivery for AI-related initiatives.
• Act as a trustedadvisor for clientsand internal teams on AI strategy, architecture, and implementation.
• Contribute to the growth of Alten’s AI practice throughinnovation, knowledge sharing,and recruitment.
• Support sales teams during opportunity qualification, RFP responses, and client meetings for AI-related scopes.
• Assist in qualifying opportunities and responding to RFPs for AI-related scopes.
• Support sales teams during client meetings and proposal preparation.

Project Delivery

• Lead use case qualification during audits and assessments.
• Prepare and share audit reports, including technical solutions, cost estimates, and ROI analysis.
• Act as a technical advisor for POCs and industrialization phases.
• Participate in POC development when technically required.
• Ensure reuse of Alten AI “Accelerators” and compliance with data and technical standards.
• Maintain continuous awareness of AI trends and emerging technologies.
• Design and build demonstrators when needed, showcasing Alten’s AI capabilities.
• Represent Alten at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
• Conduct workshops and client committees to promote AI adoption.

Internal Contributions

• Share best practices and technical knowledge across teams.
• Support skill development and training initiatives for consultants.
• Participate in recruitment and mentoring of AI talent.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience delivering AI projects (ML, DL, NLP, CV, etc.).
• Strong expertise in one or more AI-related languages, frameworks, and tools (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, PySpark, LangChain, HuggingFace, etc.).
• Ability to act as technical advisor or tech lead for Data Scientists teams.
• Experience with one or more cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and associated AI services (e.g., Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, AWS Sagemaker, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI).
• Hands‑on experience with Generative AI (e.g., LLM, Multimodal LLM, RAG, etc.).
• Previous experience in consulting or IT services companies (ESN).
• Knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps principles (CI/CD, monitoring, etc.).
• Fundamental knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in AI projects.
