Aieng in Italy is seeking an AI Engineer to develop AI-driven local inference systems and practical LLM applications, integrated with our .NET backend. You will contribute to building agentic workflows and AI-powered features for our engineering platform.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, deploying open-weight models, RAG pipelines, and model fine-tuning for industrial domains, with strong Python development and REST API exposure.

Competenze

• 2+ years of software engineering experience focusing on Applied AI / LLMs or inference pipelines.
• A degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field is required; advanced degrees are a plus.

Mansioni

• AI Deployment & Inference: Deploy open-weight models and integrate into the core platform.
• RAG & Agentic Workflows: Develop reasoning agents and retrieval pipelines for contextual retrieval.
• Model Fine-Tuning: Fine-tune existing models for our engineering domains.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the engineering team to build AI services in Python that integrate with the C# platform.
