MSC Technology Italia S.r.l. is seeking an AI Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable Generative AI solutions.

You will work across a global, multicultural team to integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems and contribute to the evolution of AI engineering practices. You will develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, leverage Large Language Models, design API integrations, and produce technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in

• Degree in computer science, AI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or NLP projects is a plus.
• Strong software development fundamentals and problem-solving skills.

AI Developer

The Artificial Intelligence Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative AI solutions that support the organization's digital transformation initiatives. Working as part of a global and multicultural team, the role focuses on delivering scalable Generative AI applications, integrating AI capabilities with enterprise systems, and contributing to the continuous evolution of AI engineering practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement medium to complex Generative AI solutions aligned with business and technology requirements.
• Build and maintain technical components, ensuring high standards of quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for large-scale document collections.
• Design and implement AI solutions integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with enterprise databases and business applications.
• Develop API integrations and tooling to enable automated execution of AI-driven actions and workflows.
• Collaborate daily with global cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Participate in the definition of software components and their integration within the enterprise architecture.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for AI applications and solutions.
• Contribute to Communities of Practice by providing technical input, reviewing implementations, sharing best practices, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support knowledge sharing and training activities through the preparation of technical materials and documentation.
