Wärtsilä Corporation invites an AI Data Analyst to join our Global Logistics Services team in Italy, with Trieste as preferred location and alternatives in Helsinki, Turku and Vaasa. The role focuses on turning data into advanced analyses and AI-supported tools to optimise operations and reporting.

You will work across the full data lifecycle, build natural-language capable analytics, and deliver dashboards and conversational interfaces that enable end-to-end data insights for our supply chain

Competenze

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant field (technical, computer science, data/AI) or similar practical experience.
• Strong SQL and Python experience with data from diverse sources.
• Experience applying AI/LLMs to data use cases.
• Hands-on with reports/visualizations, especially Power BI.
• Knowledge of Databricks or similar data platforms.
• Understanding of supply chain or logistics processes.
• Analytical, proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Eagerness to use data end-to-end.

Mansioni

• Develop advanced analyses on WGLS data
• Build conversational agents on top of our data that operational users can use directly to get answers in natural language
• Create solutions to query structured data and documents in natural language
• Collect requirements and deliver analyses, reports, dashboards or tools
• Extract, transform and prepare data from multiple sources; maintain reports/visualizations
• Contribute to data practices and AI-ready foundations
• Support users in adopting AI-based analytics safely
