Leonardo is seeking an AW169 Sales Engineer Specialist in Italy (Varese, Cascina Costa) to assess customer requirements, prepare technical proposals, and present capabilities for bids in civil and military contexts. You will coordinate with Bid & Proposal, Pricing, Sales, and Engineering to develop feasible solutions for non-standard configurations.

Ideal candidates hold an Engineering or STEM degree, are fluent in English, and are willing to travel, including long-term assignments.

Competenze

• Engineering degree (aero preferred) or STEM field
• Excellent/Good English (written and spoken)
• Strong Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills
• Interest in aeronautical technologies and rotorcraft requirements
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
• Willingness to travel and long-term assignments; car owner preferred

Mansioni

• Respond to RfI/RfQ/RfP and prepare technical documentation for bids
• Coordinate and integrate the technical offer package with Bid, Proposal, Pricing and Sales
• Support negotiation by evaluating technical deviations from the Proposal
• Assist pre-bid activities with product information and competitive analysis
• Define and maintain the commercial standard configuration
• Promote LH Selling Standards during pre-bid, bid and negotiation phases
• Support Product Marketing Plans and analyze market needs from tenders
• Collect product roadmap inputs and share with the reference unit
• Analyze performance vs. competitors in the weight class
