Ohb Italia seeks an AIT engineer to drive opto-mechanical integration of the Flyeye Telescope, collaborating with AIT and Optical teams on on-site and factory work.

You will prepare integration and test procedures, manage mechanical/optical assemblies, support night observations, and travel for mid/long-term missions. A degree in engineering/physics and 2+ years of AIT experience with English fluency are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor or higher degree in engineering, aerospace engineering or physics
• At least 2 years of professional AIT experience
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Strong reporting and communication skills
• Proactive, multitasking and time-management abilities
• Willingness to travel for mid/long-term missions

Mansioni

• Participate in telescope integration and optical alignment
• Prepare AIT documentation including integration/test procedures and setup/as-run procedures
• Handle mechanical/optical assemblies, tools, and GSEs
• Participate in technical/review meetings and progress updates
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during on-site commissioning
