Job summary

Joivy invites applications for a 6-month Admin & Accounting Intern to join the Finance Department in Italy. You will support accounts payable, administration, and cross-functional tasks while working 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Record and process accounts payable invoices.
• Register lease agreements with Agenzia delle Entrate.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail (physical and electronic).
• Prepare monthly reports and analyses.
• Support monthly closing activities.
• Reconcile accounting records and ledgers.

Role & Team

We are looking for an Admin & Accounting Intern to join our team on a 6-month internship contract.

In this role, you will be part of our Finance Department, actively supporting and contributing to cross-functional activities related to accounts payable and administration.

The position is based on 8-hour shifts, from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Some examples of your main activities include:

• Recording and processing accounts payable invoices.
• Registering lease agreements with the Italian Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate).
• Managing incoming and outgoing physical and electronic mail.
• Preparing monthly reports and analyses.
• Supporting monthly closing activities.
• Reconciling accounting records and ledger accounts.

What You Need To Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Language skills: Native Italian speaker (or Italian proficiency at C2 level) and fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is considered a strong plus.
• Good knowledge of and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables and basic formulas).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, flexibility, and attention to deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and critical thinking skills.
