Job summary

Joivy is seeking an Accounts Payable professional in Italy to manage supplier invoices, payments, and month-end closings. You will collaborate with auditors and tax advisors while supporting cross-entity administrative processes.

A degree in economics or accounting plus 2–4 years of experience is preferred. The role offers a permanent contract with 2 days of remote work per week and a gross annual salary between 28,000€ and 32,000€, plus a performance-based bonus and dynamic international

Key responsibilities

• Managing the accounts payable process, from document verification to supplier invoice posting.
• Managing supplier payment schedules, preparing payments, and reconciling accounting entries.
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including accruals, deferrals, invoices to be received, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborating with auditors, tax advisors, and internal business functions.
• Supporting the coordination and alignment of administrative processes across the Group's international entities (France and Spain).
• Participating in continuous improvement and digitalization projects related to administrative and accounting processes.

What you need to succeed in this role

• Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a Accounting High School Diploma with equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2–4 years of experience in accounting and administration roles, with a focus on accounts payable.
• Good knowledge of Italian VAT regulations, electronic invoicing, and key tax compliance requirements.
• Good knowledge of English (B2/C1 level).
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and management of large data sets).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while managing the fiscal calendar.
• Strong attention to detail and a control-oriented mindset, combined with the ability to investigate and identify the root causes of discrepancies.
• A process improvement mindset, rather than a purely execution-focused approach.
