Job summary

Talent Garden in Milan, Italy, is seeking a Junior Accounting on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable efforts within the AFC team.

You will help ensure accurate daily processing, month-end closing, banking postings, and reconciliation across suppliers and customers. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in accounting, a finance degree, familiarity with NetSuite ERP, and fluency in English and Italian.

The role

We are on the lookout for our new fix term Junior Accounting to support our AFC team, one of our key staff functions. The contract will last for 12 months.

In this role, your mission will be to ensure accurate and timely management of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and supporting the team through daily operations and month-end closing.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to our Head of AFC, you will:

• Reviewing, verifying, and recording invoices (AP)
• Issue same customer invoices and credit notes, and monitor receivables and collections (AR)
• Reconcile supplier, customer and general ledger accounts
• Perform daily banking postings and reconciliations
• Review and post employee expense reports, checking they comply with company policy
• Reconcile supplier, customer and general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

About you Ideally You are a precise and well-organized accounting with at least 1 year of experience in AP, AR or general accounting. You care about details, handle deadlines well and enjoy working with other teams in a fast-paced environment. On top of this, you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1+ year of experience in accounting roles
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Collaborative, proactive, and you are comfortable working in evolving, dynamic contexts.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP (a significant plus)
• Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)
• You are either based in Milan or can easily reach it.
