The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensuring compliance with Italian regulations, while actively contributing to drone assembly. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, fluency in English and Italian, and a willingness to support diverse tasks in a fast-paced setting are essential. FlyingBasket is an innovative Start-Up, specializing in the production of multicopter drones suitable for commercial use such as cargo transportation, heavy lifting operations, power line inspections, and various other applications. Since its inception, FlyingBasket has become the benchmark in the commercial cargo drone industry. We are continuously expanding our commercial operations and looking for someone to join our team in the journey towards unlocking the full potential of our innovative technology.

Our ideal candidate will be trusted to manage registries and accounts, take the lead on course organisation, and support the team with a wide range of administrative tasks. Highly skilled in accounting, with a solid understanding of the Italian financial system, this person will support internal processes and ensure compliance with all local standards and requirements. Comfortable with responsibility and change, they will thrive in a dynamic workplace where learning is part of everyday work. As a manufacturing company, we expect all team members,including those in administrative and accounting roles — to actively contribute to the assembly and build of our drones, gaining hands-on exposure to our technology and operations.

Responsibilities

• Accounting and bookkeeping in accordance with Italian laws
• Managefinancial transactions, including payable and receivable accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements
• Ensure compliance with all Italian financial regulations and accounting standards
• Manage administrative tasks (insurance, lawyer, company building, etc.)
• Support the teamwith whatever is needed

Must Have

• Strong understanding of Italian accounting principles and practices, Italian law as well as company administration
• Willing to take on anything else that is to do, including but not limited to manual work like building drones and components
• Great problem-solving and analytical skills
• Fluent in English (B2 or higher)
• Fluent in Italian (B2 or higher)
• Proficiency in using PC and Office Package

Nice to have

• Experience with Odoo
• Prior experience with GDPR
• Experience with public funding / grantapplications & reporting
• Experience with international accountancy
