This full-time role requires an individual with a strong financial background and proven experience in raising private capital. You will work closely with the founders to drive growth and ensure financial sustainability. FlyingBasket is an innovative Start-Up, specializing in the production of multicopter drones suitable for commercial use such as cargo transportation, heavy lifting operations, logistics and various other applications, solving real problems, onshore and offshore.

Since its inception, FlyingBasket has become the benchmark in the commercial cargo drone industry. We are continuously expanding our commercial operations and looking for someone dynamic and experienced to join our team in the journey towards unlocking the full potential of our innovative technology as we scale.

Our ideal candidate is no stranger to a startup environment and cross-functional collaboration. She will be trusted to take ownership of the finance in a hands‑on manner, bringing in capital and help plan and budget for the projects. Our new team member will have accountability from day one, guided by team spirit and passion towards innovative solutions that drones bring to other industries. Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to the founders, supporting key business decisions
• Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash/runway management
• Create and maintain financial models
• Lead financing and fundraising activities
• Manage investor relations and documentation
• Oversee legal, IP, and governance topics in coordination with external advisors
• Own company administration: accounting oversight, payroll, contracts & infrastructure
• Support Quality and Compliance functions

Must Have

• Ownership mindset: hands‑on, pragmatic, and comfortable with ambiguity
• Ability to communicate clearly with founders, investors, and external partners
• Hands‑on experience raising private capital (angels, VCs, family offices, or strategics)
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
• Experience with raising capital
• Proven existing strong network with investors and companies that you helped succeed

• Accounting background and basics
• Practical experience with legal, IP, and corporate governance topics
• Resourceful / ability to get things done with minimal support

Objectives of this Role

• Secure funding to support growth by leading private fundraising activities and driving successful closes with the right investors.
• Build financial clarity for decision‑making by owning forecasts, budgets, KPIs, and reporting that leadership can actually use.
• Set up scalable finance operations (processes, tools, external partners) that are lean today and ready for growth tomorrow.
• Manage the investments and finances in line with the company's goals
• Oversight of the company's activities to ensure the financial sustainability of the projects
• Extend and actively manage runway through disciplined and flexible cash planning, scenario modeling, and clear prioritization with the founders.
• De‑risk the company on legal/IP topics by ensuring ownership, contracts, governance, and IP structure are handled correctly with external counsel.
• Act as a strategic partner to leadership by supporting high‑impact decisions (hiring, pricing, partnerships, expansion) with clear financial insight.
