Flex is seeking an Accountant in Milan, Italy to support the Finance Manager with daily accounting, tax obligations, and reporting. The role involves recording AP/AR, filing documents, and ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in accounting, knowledge of SAP or BaaN, strong Excel skills, and fluent Italian with good English. Flex offers an equal opportunity workplace and room for growth.

Mansioni

• Record and verify accounting documents and related calculations (Accounts Payable).
• Verify and issue invoices (Accounts Receivable).
• File accounting documents electronically and on paper.
• Manage tax, social security and regulatory deadlines (VAT settlement, F23/F24 forms).
• Allocate data according to the chart of accounts.
• Update Customers and Suppliers records and corporate records.
• Manage Collections/Payments and monthly due-date schedule.
• File banking/financial documents and manage contracts.
• Prepare monthly reporting.

The role of supporting the Finance Manager of the site involves carrying out administrative activities and tax-related obligations.

What a typical day looks like:

• Verification and recording of accounting documents and related calculations (Accounts Payable)
• Verification and issuance of invoices (Accounts Receivable)
• Electronic and paper filing of accounting documents
• Management of mandatory deadlines relating to tax, social security and regulatory obligations (VAT settlement, F23/F24 forms, management of deadlines relating to taxes/duties/levies)
• Verification of data allocation according to the company chart of accounts
• Updating company records (Customers and Suppliers
• Updating corporate records
• Management of Collections/Payments: preparation of the monthly due-date schedule and control of payment methods
• Electronic and paper filing of banking and financial documents
• Management of company contracts
• Management of monthly reporting

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or a similar financial role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, budgeting, cash flow, and national accounting regulations; knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or BaaN and good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to independently manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Team player committed to quality, continuous improvement, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Excellent Italian language skills and good English communication skills

The pay level offered for this position is 25.903 euro per year, plus daily meal allowance of 5,29 Euro/each. The role is classified at 4° Level under the "Logistica, Trasporto Merci e Spedizione" CCNL.

A higher pay level is possible, proportional with candidate’s experience, within the limits of internal peer pay, to prevent pay inequities.

Internal peers are Flex employees who hold a role of equal value to the advertised one in the same cost location and at the same grade level.
