EDAG Italia is seeking a skilled automotive designer to create high-quality 3D surface models using Alias, develop production-ready tooling concepts, and advise on design and GD&T issues. You will contribute across interior and exterior projects, building scale and full-size models that meet customer demands while interfacing with engineering and styling teams.

Candidates should hold an Automotive Design degree and have experience on multiple complete projects.

Formación

• Previous surfacing experience with Alias in a top-tier automotive environment.
• Degree or foreign equivalent in Automotive Design or Product Design.
• Participation on at least 2 complete projects (interior or exterior).
• Construct three dimensional scale and full size models of proposed automobile designs and components.
• Create complex models and forms.
• Creates models in accordance with customer requirements and engineering design constraints.
• Produce finished models to specifications with minimal supervision.
• Support and participate in process improvement activities.
• Good experience as interface between engineering and styling.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Blender or CATIA V5 is a plus.
• A positive attitude and desire to help EDAG meet the highest standards;

• Create quality, accurate 3D Digital surface models of exterior and interior parts that communicate conceptual design intent using Alias;
• Develop properties from concept stage to production-ready quality for tooling release;
• Advise and suggest solutions to overcome design, engineering, or GD&T issues and improve product appearance;

Your skills that will help us to get ahead:

Total compensation:

• Contract type: [Permanent contract]
• Gross annual salary (RAL):

Junior Level €[25.000] – €[30.000] (determined on the basis of objective, neutral, and verifiable criteria)

Middle/Senior Level €[30.000] – €[38.000] (determined on the basis of objective, neutral, and verifiable criteria)

• Smart working: individual remote working agreements
• Working hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) with flexibility
