Job summary

AWL Agri Business Ltd in Bengaluru seeks a Sales Manager to drive growth across GT, MFS and institutional channels, expand market reach and strengthen the retailer network.

You will lead a field team, ensure policy compliance, assess performance, manage credit norms for key accounts, coordinate new product launches, optimize resources and address customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted targets (GT/MFS/Institutional).
• Maximize market share, coverage and retail penetration.
• Identify new business avenues and opportunities for growth.
• Monitor cost control for manpower, TA/DA and admin expenses.
• Build team capability; develop career plans for subordinates.
• Oversee performance assessment and appraisal of the field force.
• Ensure implementation of company systems and policies in the zone.
• Analyze competition and market responses; strategize to achieve business goals.
• Decide credit limits and BG amounts for top customers.
• Manage new product launches (up to 3 years old) and niche product sales.
• Conduct CFA reviews; address grievances and resolve issues with the commercial team.
• Establish and ensure smooth functioning of distribution network across the zone.
• Optimize resource allocation.
• Review and monitor BTL activities.
• Monitor and resolve consumer complaints.

Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITY

• a) Responsible for achieving the budgeted targets (GT/MFS/Institutional).
• b) Responsible for maximizing market share, coverage and retail penetration.
• c) Find out new business avenues/opportunities for overall business growth.
• d) Monitoring cost control Manpower/TA-DA/Admin expenses.
• e) Ensuring capability building of team members. Developing career plans for subordinates.
• f) Overall responsible for proper performance assessment & appraisal of field force.
• g) Ensure proper implementation and execution of company systems and policies in the zone.
• h) Analyzing competition, market responses/requirements and strategizing accordingly for the accomplishments of business goals.
• i) Deciding credit limits and BG amount for top parties.
• j) Responsible for all new product (up to 3 yrs old) launches and focused niche product sales.
• k) CFA management Conduct review meeting with the CFA. Redressal of grievances and ensure resolution of all issues with the support of commercial team.
• l) Responsible for establishment of adequate distribution network across zone and ensuring its smooth functioning.
• m) Optimization of resource allocation :--
• n) Reviewing and monitoring of BTL activities.
• o) Monitoring and resolution of consumer complaints.

• i) Sales Report Depot Wise/Town wise.
• ii) Competitors pricing report (weekly).
• iii) Reports on scheme implementation.
• IV) Performance Review - monthly.
