Job summary

Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management Ltd (AMC) in India seeks a Product Specialist to strengthen distributor relationships and drive product knowledge across the sales team.

The role targets equity and debt product performance, supports the Sales Team to broaden distribution, and provides market feedback to Investments on competitive positioning.

You will conduct regular training sessions, coordinate huddles with distributors, and engage with key Family Offices/UHNIs to optimize regional sales.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Product specialist for distributor engagements; lead sales pitches and knowledge transfer.
• Achieve Zone targets across Equity and Debt products; drive product mix in distribution.
• Collaborate with Sales Team to increase distribution spread and product mix.
• Provide market feedback on competition and product positioning.
• Conduct regular training and knowledge sessions for internal staff in the zone.
• Bridge between Investments team and sales force on ground.
• Accompany Sales RM in distributor meetings and manage key clients.
• Drive tactical zonal activities like NFOs to maximize coverage.

Team Training & Upskilling

• To conduct Regular Training and Knowledge Sessions for Internal Employees across the Zone for continuous Knowledge upgrade, Keep the Sales Team updated with any product related information and ensure each employee speaks the same language.
• To conduct Regular Huddles/ Conference Calls / Meetings with Distributors and articulate products and Market Outlook effectively, position products in the best interest of all stakeholders, simplify all aspects of Capital market.
• Be a bridge between the Investment Team and the sales force on ground.

Stakeholder Management

• Be a bridge between the Investment Team and the sales force on ground.
• Feedback to Investments team on Distributor/ Investor queries on Funds/Products.
• To actively work on key counters with Sales team and include them as part of their branch visit.

Sales Focus

• Accompany Sales RM in key distributor meeting (Advisory IFA, UHNI, Private Wealth RM) and closely manage Key Family Offices/UHNIs in the respective region.
• Providing critical ground Feedback for enhancing business activities, any other feedback pertaining to branch/ distribution/ team/Customer Service etc gathered during branch visit and in turn driving sales
• Responsible for tactical zonal drives like NFOs to maximise coverage at all POS.
