Job summary

Apeejay Stya Group invites applications for the Zonal Manager role based in Delhi. The candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in pharma distribution and supply chain, with strong GST knowledge and experience in audits.

You will supervise daily branch activities, coordinate with HO, ensure SOP compliance, and manage logistics, contracts with transporters, and timely collections. Will travel monthly across zones as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience managing distribution and supply chain in pharma branches/depots.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily orders and timely dispatches from stockists and branches.
• Ensure collections are deposited and resolve expiry/breakage claims.
• Coordinate with transporters to negotiate rates and timely delivery.
• Oversee SAP related activities at branches per HO guidelines.
• Interact with distributors and HO to resolve queries and feedback.
• Lead contract negotiations with transporters to save costs without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with drug and food regulatory requirements and labour laws.
• Travel extensively across branches in the zonal area and report to GM (Branches).

Job description

Designation: Zonal Manager || Delhi

Experience - 5-10 years

Job Responsibility-Graduate Preferably B.com

• Having good knowledge of GST & filing of GST Returns and related documentation .
• Ensuring the Implementation of SOP and the policies of the HO at the branches under your control .
• Co-ordination with the Auditors external & internal on their visits to get audits carried out.
• Checking the MIS reports the branches are sending to the HO & answering their related queries.
• Manage and overall supervision and control of all the daily activities of the Branches/ Depots they are incharge of in their Zone . Interacting with the Branch managers and ensuring the supply chain and Logistics function is being carried out smoothly and to the satisfaction of the customers .
• To Look after and ensure compliance of the Drug & food Regulatory authorities requirement / shop establishment act/ labour laws etc at the branches under them.
• Must essentially have considerable experience and be Well Versed in independently managing the distribution and supply chain activities in a Pharmaceutical company ' s Branch/Depot/ CFA and should have worked himself as the Manager incharge / Head of the depot/ cfa'/ branch for about 5-10 years .
• Should be Proficient in MS Office modules and should have necessarily worked on SAP HANA as well .

To Manage all the below activities in the Branch at Delhi where they will be based and all other Branches under their Zone in their control .

• Monitor the daily Orders from stockists / timely Dispatches to them / receipt of their payments / party' s Expiry and Breakage claim settlements etc.
• Following up with the transporter/ courier to ensure timely delivery of goods and negotiate rates with them at the branches and ensure timely supply .
• Ensuring all collections from the stockists - customers are deposited to the company bank account on time.
• Look after all SAP related work at the branches as per guidelines of HO .
• Interaction & providing feedback to distributors/ field/H.O. by phone/e-mail and answering their queries.
• Negotiating contracts with transporters to maximize cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
• Look after quarantine & rejected stock settlement of claims of stockists of expiry & breakage and destruction process.
• Look after cheque bounce Cases, and recovery process and other type of legal matters at the new chess under their control.
• Ensuring timely deliveries by appointing proper carting agents and other delivery mechanisms.
• Follow up with parties regarding outstanding payments.
• To have a proper travel plan in place and the position shall entail extensive and regular monthly travel to all the branches branches under them, resolve their issues and check all housekeeping, upkeep and check if other activities are being done efficiently at the branches and SOP is being followed.
• This is a position which will report to the General Manager (Branches) the Head of pan India supply chain at HO- Delhi.
