YRG MERF, based in India, is seeking an early-career communications professional to join the team. The role is hands-on, focusing on content development, social media management, basic design support, and coordinating across campaigns and communication workflows.

You will collaborate with the Communications Lead to support day-to-day deliverables across digital platforms, podcasts, and campaigns, gaining exposure to public health storytelling and campaign execution.

We are looking for amotivated, adaptable, and collaborative early-career professional to join theCommunications team at YRG MERF. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role.involving content development, social media management, basic design support,and coordination across campaigns and communication workflows. The role issuited for individuals who are eager to learn, take ownership of their work,and contribute consistently to ongoing communication efforts.

You will workclosely with the Communications Lead and team members to support day-to-daydeliverables across digital platforms, podcasts, and campaigns. While the roleis execution-heavy, it offers strong learning exposure across public healthcommunication, including storytelling, content development, and campaign execution.The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of content and digitalplatforms, an eye for detail, and the ability to follow through on tasks,manage multiple responsibilities, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

This role is best suited for someone at the beginning of their career who islooking to build practical skills in communications within a fast-paced,purpose-driven organization working across HIV, TB, and broader publichealth and social development areas.

KeyResponsibilities

ContentDevelopment & Writing

• Assistin researching, writing, editing, and proofreading content for social media andcampaigns
• Adaptcontent into multiple formats such as captions, posts, and basic scripts

SocialMedia Management

• Supportday-to-day management of social media platforms
• Scheduleand publish posts as per content calendar
• Maintaintrackers for posts and campaigns

Coordination& Follow-ups

• Coordinatewith internal teams and external vendors
• Ensuretimely follow-ups and closure of tasks
• Flagdelays proactively and maintain accountability

BasicDesign Support

• Createsimple creatives using Canva (only in case of urgency)
• Supportdesigners with references and feedback

Video& Podcast Support

• Assistin podcast and video workflows
• Supportreel creation and coordinate with editors

Analytics& Reporting

• Trackbasic performance metrics
• Assistin compiling reports and ensure data accuracy

GeneralSupport

• Supportcommunication activities across campaigns
• Ensuretimely completion of assigned tasks.
