Job summary

Cdetexplosives in Amravati, Maharashtra, seeks a hands-on Workshop Supervisor with 3–8 years in workshop supervision, machining, fabrication, and maintenance. You will lead technicians, read blueprints, and ensure safe daily operations across machining, welding, and assembly.

Responsibilities include planning materials, maintaining equipment, ERP recording, and mentoring juniors. Schedule is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with alternating Sunday/Wednesday offs; benefits include PF, ESI, annual bonus, and

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant workshop training.
• 3–8 years in workshop supervision, fabrication and maintenance.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day workshop activities and a team of technicians/workers.
• General maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
• Machine fabrication, modification, and assembly work.
• Operation and handling of Lathe, Drilling, Grinding machines, etc.
• Welding (Arc, MIG, TIG); metal fabrication and sheet/wood work.
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance; ERP records.
• Material planning, inventory control of spares, tools.
• Ensure safety standards in the workshop.
• Training and guiding junior technicians.
