Job summary

Orbion Infotech seeks an experienced Workday specialist to lead payroll and advanced compensation implementations for clients across India and APAC. You will design configurations, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role offers remote work with flexible global hours, certification sponsorships, and exposure to Fortune 500 clients. You will drive testing, data integrity, and post-go-live support while optimizing system performance.

Qualifications

Experience delivering end-to-end Workday Payroll and Advanced Compensation implementations.
Experience configuring Workday modules and integration with external systems.
Knowledge of Indian payroll compliance (PF, ESIC, TDS) and regulatory reporting within Workday.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Workday Payroll & Advanced Compensation implementations from scoping to go-live, including process mapping, configuration, and UAT support.
Design and configure complex compensation plans, bonus structures, merit matrices, and incentive models aligned with global or regional business rules.
Integrate Workday Payroll with external systems (bank feeds, tax engines, time tracking) and ensure compliance with Indian labor laws (PF, ESIC, TDS).
Lead testing cycles - including regression, integration, and parallel pay runs, with finance, HR, and payroll teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Train super-users and provide post-go-live support, resolving configuration and data issues while optimizing system performance.
Collaborate with Workday Success and Finance teams to align compensation logic with financial reporting, GL integration, and budget modeling.
