Job summary

GrowthArc in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Workday Integration Engineer to join our WorkdayIntegration team. You will design, build, and maintain integrations connecting Workday to internal and external systems, supporting People, FP&A, and Payroll functions.

You will lead technical planning, development, deployment, and testing, while ensuring security and compliance across PECI, Workday Studio, EIB, and connectors. Strong collaboration with IT, Payroll, and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software or integration engineering with Workday expertise.
• Experience with at least one full Workday implementation.
• Proficiency in Workday Studio, Extend, EIB, Core/Cloud Connectors, PECI, and Workday Web Services.
• Strong skills in XML, XSLT, JavaScript, SOAP/REST APIs, SQL, and data transformation.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• A collaborative mindset with a focus on inclusion, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Workday certifications as a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Workday transformations using Workday Studio, Extend, Core Connectors, and EIB, including the creation of custom applications to enhance user experience.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on integration architecture, development patterns, and best practices across the Workday ecosystem.
• Lead technical planning, development, deployment, unit testing, and support of new and existing integrations.
• Configure and optimize PECI integrations, including custom fields, mapping logic, and file formats, while resolving payroll-related data issues.
• Investigate integration failures, perform root cause analysis, and communicate findings to business and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams (People, Payroll, IT, InfoSec) and third-party vendors to define integration requirements and ensure security and compliance.
• Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation, including version control, test plans, and CI/CD processes.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our Workday strategy.

1. Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Workday Integration Engineer to join our WorkdayIntegration team. This team builds and manages our HR systems, ensuring they scale with Databricks growth. You'll develop and maintain integrations that connect Workday to dozens of internal and external systems. Your work will support our People, FP&Aand Payroll teams, helping streamline operations and improve the employee experience.
