Job summary

Huron Consulting is seeking a Workday Consulting Associate in India to deliver integration solutions across HCM and Financials. You’ll work on the Workday cloud platform, collaborate with leaders, and contribute to project objectives.

The role includes participation in the project lifecycle, mentoring junior staff, and applying problem-solving to complex business problems. You should have hands-on Workday integrations experience, a relevant degree, and a willingness to travel and extend hours

Qualifications

• Current Workday Integration and Studio certification.
• Experience delivering Workday integrations using REST/SOAP, XML, XSLT, Studio, EIB or Cloud Connect.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, test and support Workday integration codebase across multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel on business and adapt to project needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and own technical workstreams for Workday integrations end-to-end.
• Collaborate with leadership and junior staff across the project lifecycle.
• Translate requirements into integration design, documentation and testing.

As a Workday Consulting Associate, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful and challenging work, taking on greater accountability for project deliverables. Through the use of innovative problem solving and analytical thinking, you will identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across a wide array of Human Capital Management, Financial, and Academic functional areas.

You will be assigned full or part-time to participate in the project lifecycle, responsible for contributing to overall project objectives, specific deliverables, and the mentoring of junior staff.

Required:

• Substantial and measurable delivery within the technical workstreams of 2 or more HCM or Financials implementations for at least two phases
• Bachelor's degree in technical, business, or financial discipline or relevant field of study or equivalent work experience
• Willingness and ability to travel on business need; work extended hours as necessary

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Current Workday Integration and Studio certification
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing Workday Integrations, using at least 2 of the following technologies: Web Services (REST and/or SOAP), XML, XSLT, Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Cloud Connect
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB, and supporting 3rd party coding
• Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
• Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions
• Strong analytical skills used to translate information and requirements into documentation and solution design
• Desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies
• Experience with software tools such as Notepad++, UltraEdit, Oxygen XML, AQT, Beyond Compare, ASAP Utilities, etc.
