Job summary

Huron is a global consultancy helping clients achieve strategic growth and transformation. We are seeking a Workday Consulting Senior Associate in India to engage in meaningful, challenging work across HCM, Financials, and Student modules, building reports and analytics for diverse clients.

You will translate requirements into Workday reporting solutions, collaborate with leadership, and contribute to analytics-driven decisions while growing within a global practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Math, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Current Workday certification.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a Workday reporting role.
• Strong knowledge and experience with the Workday security model.
• 5+ years of experience with report writing using enterprise reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively as a Reporting consultant on one or more project teams.
• Translate legacy customer reporting requirements into Workday reporting toolsets.
• Understand and communicate touch points with Workday modules (HCM, Academics, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, Supply Chain, Student).
• Build reports, dashboards, discovery boards, and embedded analytics using Workday reporting tools.
• Support communication to project and client leadership.
• Follow leadership direction when establishing Workday project goals.
• Identify process improvements based on project experience.
• Deliver substantial reporting workstreams across HCM, Financials, or Student implementations for multiple phases.
• Maintain excellent written and oral communication to establish trust and collaboration.

Requirements

• Participate actively as a Reporting consultant on one or more project teams

• Translate legacy customer reporting requirements into Workday reporting tools.

• Understand and communicate touch points with the different Workday modules like HCM, Academics, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, Supply Chain, and Student.

• Build custom reports, dashboards, discovery boards, and embedded analytics using Workday's reporting toolset

• Support key communication to project and client leadership

• Closely follow the strategic direction set by leadership when establishing Workday project goals

• Support the identification of process improvements and changes to our methodology based on project experience

• Substantial and measurable delivery within the reporting workstreams of 1 or more HCM, Financials, or Student implementations for at least two phases

• Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration

Preferences

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field of study

• Current Workday certification

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a Workday reporting role using the various different tools from simple to complex reports.

• Strong knowledge and experience with the Workday security model.

• 5+ years of experience with report writing experience with enterprise reporting tools.

• Experience with reporting tools like Prism, BIRT, dashboards, discovery boards, embedded analytics, and future report specific functionality.

• Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions

• Excellent time-management and prioritization skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with tools such as Excel and Access used to translate information and requirements into documentation and solution design
