Job summary

Huron in India is seeking a Workday Consulting Associate to deliver complex Workday integrations across HCM, Financials, and Academic domains. You will engage in meaningful projects, take on accountability for deliverables, and work with leadership on a variety of initiatives.

As part of a growing Digital practice, you will contribute to project lifecycles, mentor junior staff, and travel as needed. A strong blend of analytical thinking and problem-solving is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Substantial and measurable delivery within the technical workstreams of 2+ HCM or Financials implementations across at least two phases.
• Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or financial discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel on business and work extended hours as necessary.

As a Workday Consulting Associate, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful and challenging work, taking on greater accountability for project deliverables. You will be assigned full or part-time to participate in the project lifecycle, responsible for contributing to overall project objectives, specific deliverables, and the mentoring of junior staff.

Required

• Substantial and measurable delivery within the technical workstreams of 2 or more HCM or Financials implementations for at least two phases
• Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or financial discipline or relevant field of study or equivalent work experience
• Willingness and ability to travel on business need; work extended hours as necessary

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Current Workday Integration and Studio certification
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing Workday Integrations, using at least 2 of the following technologies: Web Services (REST and/or SOAP), XML, XSLT, Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Cloud Connect
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB, and supporting 3rd party coding
• Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
• Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions
• Strong analytical skills used to translate information and requirements into documentation and solution design
• Desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies
• Experience with software tools such as Notepad++, UltraEdit, Oxygen XML, AQT, Beyond Compare, ASAP Utilities, etc.
