Job summary

Huron in India is seeking an experienced Workday Consulting Associate Manager to drive reporting initiatives and lead project teams across multiple client engagements.

You will translate requirements into robust Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics while collaborating with leadership to define goals and deliver measurable improvements. Strong communication and coaching skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Current Workday certification.
• Minimum 7 years hands‑on experience in a Workday reporting role using various tools, from simple to complex reports.
• Strong knowledge and experience with the Workday security model.
• 7+ years of report writing experience with enterprise reporting tools.
• Experience with Prism, BIRT, dashboards, discovery boards, embedded analytics, and related reporting functionality.
• Ability to train and contribute to the professional development of Huron staff in project management and technical dimensions.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient with Excel and Access for translating information into documentation and solution design.
• Desire to learn new tools, techniques, concepts and methodologies.
• Attention to data accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively as a Reporting consultant on one or more project teams with team management experience.
• Translate legacy customer reporting requirements into Workday reporting tools.
• Understand and communicate touch points with Workday modules like HCM, Academics, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, Supply Chain, and Student.
• Build reports, dashboards, discovery boards, and embedded analytics using Workday’s reporting toolset.
• Support communication to project and client leadership.
• Follow strategic direction set by leadership to establish Workday project goals.
• Identify improvements and changes to our methodology based on project experience.
• Deliver measurable results within reporting workstreams for HCM, Financials, or Student implementations across multiple phases.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and the ability to build trust and collaboration.

Job Description

• Participate actively as a Reporting consultant on one or more project teams & Team management experience
• Translate legacy customer reporting requirements into Workday reporting tools.
• Understand and communicate touch points with the different Workday modules like HCM, Academics, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, Supply Chain, and Student.
• Build custom reports, dashboards, discovery boards, and embedded analytics using Workday’s reporting toolset
• Support key communication to project and client leadership
• Closely follow the strategic direction set by leadership when establishing Workday project goals
• Support the identification of process improvements and changes to our methodology based on project experience
• Substantial and measurable delivery within the reporting workstreams of 1 or more HCM, Financials, or Student implementations for at least two phases
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
