Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Workday HCM Functional Principal Consultant to lead end-to-end HCM implementations, enhancements, and transformation programs for global clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating business requirements into scalable Workday solutions while guiding cross-functional teams.

You will conduct discovery, design and configure Workday HCM modules, manage project timelines, risks, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 8-15+ years HRIS/HR Transformation or HCM consulting experience.
• 5+ years hands-on Workday HCM implementation experience.
• Strong expertise across Core HCM, Organization Management, Staffing Models, Security, Compensation and Absence Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Workday HCM implementations, optimizations, and support engagements.
• Conduct discovery workshops to understand client HR processes and business objectives.
• Design and configure Workday HCM solutions aligned with best practices.
• Advise clients on Workday functionality, roadmap, and process improvement opportunities.
• Provide expertise across core HCM and related modules.
• Lead functional workstreams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with technical, integration, reporting, and change management teams.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Serve as the primary functional advisor for client leadership teams.
• Conduct executive-level presentations and solution demonstrations.
• Build strong relationships with HR, Payroll, Talent, and IT stakeholders.
• Mentor junior consultants and project team members.
• Assist clients with post-production stabilization and drive continuous improvement.

Role Summary

The Workday HCM Functional Principal Consultant is responsible for leading Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) implementations, enhancements, and transformation programs. This role acts as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business requirements into scalable Workday solutions while providing leadership across functional workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership

• Lead end-to-end Workday HCM implementations, optimizations, and support engagements.

• Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with technical, integration, reporting, and change management teams.

Client & Stakeholder Management
