Job summary

Boyd Precision Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking a Workday HCM Analyst in Perungudi, Chennai. The role requires 4–8 years of experience, a Master’s in HR/IT or equivalent, and a strong ability to lead HR data solutions.

You will design complex reports, implement integrations using Workday Studio and EIB, ensure data governance, and support end-to-end deployments while collaborating with HR Operations and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage security permissions for users and roles across Workday HCM modules.
• Design and execute simple to complex reports and dashboards; leverage Workday Prism.
• Configure and test integrations for data migrations; build integrations via Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, and APIs.
• Identify process improvements, stay updated on Workday releases, and propose enhancements.
• Support development of reporting requirements, governance, and audits across HR modules.
• Resolve Workday HCM questions and maintain accounts; train internal users.
• Assist with 1+ end-to-end Workday HCM implementations and configuration for go-lives.

Position: WORKDAY HCM ANALYST

Job Description:

Expertise in Workday HCM platform, data analysis and visualization, technical integrations, and understanding of HR processes with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities

• Manage appropriate security permissions for users and roles across all Workday HCM modules, supporting security compliance audits, and data reporting
• Strong working proficiency in designing and executing simple, advanced, composite, and matrixed custom reports, building dashboards, and Workday Prism
• Proficiency in configuring, testing, and updating simple to complex integrations for data migrations with accuracy and efficiency; demonstrate working knowledge with a successful history in designing integrations via Workday Studio, Document Transformation, EIB, Cloud Connect, and APIs for various vendors
• Identify Workday process improvement opportunities, maintaining Workday release updates, new features, and industry trends, evaluating their impact, and proposing relevant system enhancements
• Support the development of reporting requirements related to all Workday HCM modules, including governance- and audit-based needs
• Efficient in resolving support tickets by handling all Workday HCM questions, issue resolution, and appropriate account maintenance
• Train internal customers and end users, editing and composing training materials as needed
• Support fulfilling 1+ end-to-end implementation with Workday HCM and another cloud-based HCM in configuration, testing, and data validations for a successful launch.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience with Workday HCM analytics and reporting, Prism Analytics, implementations, configurations, and maintenance
• Masters Degree in HR, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience of 8+ years
• Strong ability to work well under all deadlines, with independent task management and impeccable attention to detail, to successfully and responsibly meet business needs on time
• Facilitate highly sensitive and confidential data with sound judgment and advanced discretion
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and with stakeholders at every level of the organization, across multiple world regions
• Collaborative work ethic to deliver global results and seamlessly partner with HR Operations team on all deliverables, effectively supporting internal customers
• Ability and enthusiasm to learn and embrace knowledge sharing with Workday HCM and other business tools to continuously improve and maintain responsibilities within HR Operations
