Job summary

Vihiraconsultancy in Pune invites an experienced Workday Compensation Architect to own end-to-end compensation configuration for global programs, including merit, bonus, and equity.

You will translate compensation strategies into scalable Workday solutions, partner with HCM, Payroll, and Absence teams across USA and India, conduct audits and build advanced reports.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of Workday Compensation experience.
• Experience configuring complex compensation programs for global companies (USA & India).
• Understanding of touchpoints between Compensation, HCM, Absence, and Payroll.

Role & responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture and configuration for Compensation and Advanced Compensation, including merit, bonus, allowance, and equity programs.
• Translate business compensation strategies into scalable, well-architected Workday solutions.
• Partner with HCM, Absence, and Payroll teams on new configurations to prevent negative downstream impacts.
• Configure and maintain:
• Compensation plans, packages, and eligibility rules
• Compensation statements
• Compensation scorecards and scorecard profiles
• Job profiles, compensation grades, and compensation grade profiles across multiple countries
• Compensation reports, calculated fields, business processes, and conditions
• Other core compensation functionality
• Conduct regular compensation audits and deliver scalable resolutions.
• Build custom compensation reports, including Standard, Advanced, and Matrix reports.
• Create and maintain calculated fields related to compensation.
• Lead compensation regression testing following new Workday releases.
• Identify opportunities to improve data integrity, efficiency, and employee experience across the compensation ecosystem.
• Support the HCM Manager in preparing change management plans and creating end-user guides.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of Workday Compensation experience
• Demonstrated experience configuring complex compensation programs in Workday for global companies (specifically USA and India)
• Understanding of touchpoints between Compensation, HCM, Absence, and Payroll
